Gone are the days when we fly kites on summer
days. Paragliding is the ultimate summer activity for many of us who love
flying. Or, perhaps, you are going out for an action weekend escape. Paragliding
is the one air sport that should be in your bucket list this year. Indeed, life
is an adventure… Go dare it!
What is Paragliding?
To begin with, paragliding is a sport. For
others, it may be a recreational activity. In a statement of the obvious, it is
the one activity that takes you up in the sky to glide… or in other words, to
fly. You use a wide canopy that looks like a parachute and this is attached to
your body using a harness to function as your oversized wing. This canopy is
what allows you to glide in the direction you want through the air. When you
soar up in the sky like a mighty eagle under powerful wings… it is such an
amazing free-flying experience that does not have any rigid structure for an
extra added weight. To pilot your wings, you are seated on a suspended harness under
the canopy.

in Sarangani
The open fields of Sarangani Province and the
beautiful architecture of the provincial landscape makes it one of the captivating
places in the Philippines to explore. If you are up for this adventure, it will
cost you Php3, 000.00 for a flying time not under 5 to 8 minutes. Got friends? Good!
Booking requires a minimum of three (3) persons. If you are bringing a squad of
more than 3… then, that’s merrier!
The Sarangani Paragliding activity is back to
back with a 4x4 adventure – all for the price of one. The 3K package is broken
down into these services:
>>
own paragliding video (so, bring your usb or sd stick or card for video
transfer)
>>
4x4 adventure bumpy-ride
>>
gears and equipment
>>
park fee
>>
pilot fee
Note the best time to fly is in the morning
from 7o’clock until early lunch by 11o’clock because the weather and wind condition
at these hours are presumed at its best for this activity. But of course, do
not take our word for it. For an absolute adventure, commit to a whole day
flexible time.
Use proper clothing and footwear gear. A rubber
shoes or outdoor shoes is the appropriate fit for this adventure. It is wise to
carry plenty of water. A nice picnic set up on an open field with good food and
beverages and a dose of sun-block is just the picture perfect group fun and a memorable
escape up in the air.
Dare to fly? Get this paragliding on your
bucket list before the year ends…
